How To Rock Your Favorite Streetstyle Loungewear This Season

Your girl is in sweats 75% of the time, so any excuse to wear streetstyle loungewear works for me.

Due to the pandemic, it was easy to find ourselves in sweatpants and loungewear often. I don’t know anyone who binge watched Netflix and Hulu in their jeans while quarantining. But when outside opened back up, a lot of us found ourselves out more, with our comfy clothes still on.

With that being said, the rise of street style loungewear emerged. Cute never goes out of style, but comfort is the new black. Don’t believe me? Just check out your favorite clothing store/brand. I bet you’ll notice there are a lot more cute sweats and athleisure wear items available now.

And I am a big fan of it all. Clearly.

Streetstyle Loungewear Style

Loungewear Set – Pants

I love this set so much, not only because the ribbed knit material is comfy, but it’s so versatile. I’m a huge fan of anything that you can dress up, down and all around. Though I chose to dress it up with heels and give it a chic, boho look, it can also be worn with sneakers. I believe this look would pair nicely with a leather or fur jacket.

Cute 2-piece sets are all the hype right now, especially coming into the Spring and Summer seasons. They’re easy to grab when you don’t feel like spending minutes rummaging through your closet for a fit.

This cute little number is from the Ava & Viv collection at Target. Unfortunately it’s sold out at the moment, but you can find a similar style set here.

Loungewear Set – Shorts

Surprisingly, this is technically a sleep set. But unsurprisingly, I can see why it falls into that category because it feels like you’re wearing a cuddly and soft teddy bear.

This comfy and soft duo looks best with open toed sandal heels, especially if you’re a petite girl like me. The key is to make the legs a focal point. The open toed heels helps to give the illusion of long legs. However, this look would be just as cute with white sneakers.

Joggers

Joggers are probably the first thing that come to mind when thinking about streetstyle loungewear. They’re the easiest to get away with when it comes to merging your streetstyle and loungewear, mainly because of the tapered legs. The tapered leg on the joggers are easily paired with heels, boots and sneakers. It’s possible to wear them to work and no one would ever know. Satin Pajamas

One thing about me, I love a good trouser moment. Another thing about me, I love a good monochromatic moment with a pop of color. I bought these satin champagne colored trousers from the Goodwill in the pajama section! Hands down one of my favorite thrift store purchases of all time. Never underestimate a good thrift store find, and especially don’t skip over the pajama aisle.

If you aren’t as lucky in your thrift store, you can always find something similar online.

I purchased the top from Discovery Clothing awhile back. But any oversized/flowy top will do to get the same effect. The point is to make every look your own and be comfortable while doing it!
