Bold Blue Dress
Whether it’s a bold blue dress or not, every woman deserves a dress that makes her feel sexy, strong and confident.
This bold blue dress is one of my favorite dresses of all the dresses in my closet.
Not only because it gives me a real Carrie Bradshaw moment. Where my Sex & the City Fans at?!
It’s one of my favorites dresses because it makes me feel good in my skin. And in my recent blog post, I talked about the importance of wearing your own personal style. This dress allows me to feel feminine and free, but sexy and modest all in one.
Ladies, you can be sexy without bearing it all. It isn’t about your body, sexy is an energy. Sexy isn’t just about showing off what God gave you.
The Body Blues
And speaking of what God gave you, it’s time we had the talk about weight and body image.
Recently, I posted to my Instagram about comparing yourself to how you used to look or how you think you should look. Meanwhile, Roe vs Wade has been overturned and it’s evident that women’s bodies continue to be overly policed. With that being said, weight and body image have been on my mind heavy. Women’s bodies are being policed left and right, it’s important that you aren’t overly critical of your own body.
A lot of us aren’t the same weight that we were back in high school and college, and that is okay. We have been through a lot and we’ve gained a lot of life experiences. Naturally our body is going to follow along with everything that we’ve been through. Above all, God only granted us one body and we have to be sure we treat it with the most care and respect.

I have a little homework for you. The homework should be easy and worth it.
Look at yourself in the mirror naked or with undergarments on. Really look at yourself. I’d like you to look yourself in the eyes and be sure to hold eye contact while you tell yourself 4 things you like about yourself. 2 things body related and 2 things about your personality.
